Special Weather Statement: Baldwin County Weather Alert for Inland Areas
The National Weather Service has issued a special weather statement for inland Baldwin and Escambia counties. A strong thunderstorm tracking southwest is expected to bring wind gusts up to 55 mph and pea-sized hail to affected areas.

At 438 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles west of McCullough, or 15 miles northwest of Atmore, moving
southwest at 10 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Atmore, Stockton, McCullough, I65 And CR 1, I65 And AL 21, and Poarch
Creek Reservation.
