Ralph Mason Beane, an esteemed resident of Cantonment, Florida, has passed away at the age of 88 on May 10, 2026, in Macon, Georgia. A lifelong local, Mason was born on November 23, 1937, in Milton, Florida, and graduated from Milton High School.
After dedicating 30 years to his career as an electrician with Monsanto, Mason retired, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and commitment. He was a valued member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Mason was passionate about woodworking, spending countless hours in his workshop, where he enjoyed teaching his grandchildren the art of creating with wood. His love for the outdoors was evident in his hobbies, which included camping and fishing. He also took pride in his flourishing citrus orchard, generously sharing its bounty with family and friends.
His children fondly remember the days spent fishing with him, moments they will cherish forever. Known for his remarkable ability to fix anything, Mason’s resourcefulness was a blessing to those around him. Above all, he cherished his grandchildren, who deeply admired him.
Mason is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Jacqualine Sawyer Beane; daughters Belinda Crouse and Donna Riddle; son Brady Beane; sister Earline Barnes; brother George Gentry; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
A service honoring Mason’s life will take place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Pensacola Memorial Gardens inside the chapel.
