Greg Brown, a long-time Pensacola resident, passed away on May 1, 2026, at the age of 72. Born on April 7, 1954, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, he later moved to Florida, where he built a life filled with passion and dedication.

Greg earned both an Associate of Arts and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of West Florida. He established a small insurance agency, where he worked alongside his devoted assistant, Joyce, and continued to serve his clients for as long as possible.

A true water enthusiast, Greg loved activities such as boating in his 17-foot Cape Horn, swimming, snorkeling, and scalloping. In his youth, he enjoyed diving and lobstering with his cousins. Additionally, he was an avid tennis player, frequently enjoying a game even as he aged, but he found his greatest joy in the water, whether at a pool or the ocean.
