Remembering Juan Alejandro Galvan: A Cherished Pensacola Resident

Juan Alejandro Galvan, a beloved member of the Pensacola community, passed away in his home on June 27, 2026, at the age of 54. Born on February 29, 1972, in Pensacola, he was the cherished son of Juan D. Galvan and Elizabeth Folks and a devoted husband to Joella Galvan for 35 years.

Juan was a dedicated father to five daughters and a proud grandfather to nine grandchildren, eagerly anticipating the arrival of another grandchild and a great-grandchild. Known for his unwavering support, he was always present for his family, offering sound advice and encouragement.

In addition to his family life, Juan was a loyal brother to six siblings and was known for his generosity, humor, and strong work ethic. He dedicated 28 years of his professional life as a Network Administrator and was a proud veteran of the Army.

His love for the outdoors shone through in his passions for rock collecting, fishing, and boating. Above all, Juan treasured the time spent with family and friends, always ready to lend a hand or share a laugh.

Juan is survived by his wife, Joella; his daughters, Whitney Mayfield, Britney and Wes Leathers, Caitlin and Mike Brancati, Alysa and Alex Ramos, and Heather and Zach O’Donnell; his father and step-mother, Juan D. and Margie Galvan; his grandchildren Brett, Emily, Brody, Lorelai, Leighton, Westin, Charlie, Riley, and Ripley, as well as his soon-to-arrive grandchild, Adeline. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Alejandro, Johndee, Janette, and Janaikha, along with many extended family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Juan Galvan is scheduled for July 18, 2026, from 11 AM to 2 PM at Faith Chapel North, located at 1000 S. Hwy 29, Cantonment, Florida. Family and friends are encouraged to attend and share their cherished memories of Juan.
