Glenn served in the U.S. Air Force starting in 1972, earning the rank of chief master technician, a role held by only four individuals nationwide. His military career included assignments at various locations, such as Keesler Air Force Base in Mississippi and Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana, as well as international postings in South Korea and Thailand. After 21 years of dedicated service, he retired as a Senior Master Sergeant in 1992.

Upon retirement, Glenn transitioned to a civilian career, working at General Electric in Pensacola before co-founding Custom Control Solutions in 2004. He enjoyed his retirement years with Kathy, relishing the good life they had built together.

Glenn is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Delores (Miller) Christiansen. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Faith Chapel Funeral Home located at 1000 S. Hwy 29, Cantonment, FL. A funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, July 23, 2026, at 12:00 PM, with an hour for visitation beforehand. Burial will be at Barrancas National Cemetery at NAS Pensacola. Following the service, family and friends are invited to celebrate Glenn’s life at the American Legion Riders 340 on Ashland Ave in Pensacola from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Active pallbearers will include Kenneth Miller, Jake Miller, Douglas Lester, David Neal, David Christiansen, and Cole Christiansen.
