Larry Wayne Goodwin, a long-time resident of Cantonment, Florida, passed away on May 30, 2026, at the age of 73. Born in Pensacola, Larry dedicated his life to the Muscogee community.
He enjoyed a successful career as a real estate acquisition manager for Escambia County, starting his journey with the county on a survey crew. Larry was known for his love of the outdoors, particularly golfing, and cherished moments spent with his family. Traveling with his wife, Joyce, brought him immense joy.
Larry is survived by his three children: daughters Kim Lovitt (Clint) and Amy Williams (Jason), and son Matthew Goodwin. He is also remembered by his siblings, including brother Ronnie Goodwin and sisters Faye Dees and Brenda Bagwell, as well as his brother Eddie Goodwin. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Brett, Glory, July, Levi, Bailey, Arwyn, and Dallas.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joyce Goodwin, along with his parents AJ “Dude” Goodwin and Eunice Goodwin, and brothers Donnie Goodwin and Bobby Goodwin.
A visitation for family and friends will take place on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 p.m.
