Allison B. McDonald, 52, of Foley, Alabama, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2026, at Baldwin Health Hospital. She was originally from Alexandria, Louisiana, born on May 31, 1973.

Allison was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Lockett, and her sister, Sara Lockett. She is survived by her mother, Cathy Mathis, her father, Jim Mathis, her brothers Christopher Lockett of Milton, Florida, and Bobby Mathis of Smarr, Georgia, as well as her sister Rachel Lockett and uncle Dennis Lockett. She also leaves behind a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Allison spent her formative years in Bagdad, Florida, where she attended Bagdad Elementary School and formed lasting friendships. For the past 15 years, she lived and worked in Foley, Alabama.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be scheduled at a later date. The family has requested that donations be made in Allison’s memory to two organizations that were significant to her: Meals on Wheels in Foley, Alabama, and the Cancer Society.

Allison will be remembered fondly for her love of family and friends. Although her passing is deeply felt, the family takes comfort in their faith and the promise of being reunited with her one day.
