Pensacola resident Lt. Colonel Allen Michael Green, 72, passed away on April 2, 2026, at his home, surrounded by family. Born on July 27, 1953, in Washington D.C., he was the son of the late Murray and Beatrice Ryder Green.

A distinguished graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, Allen dedicated 23 years of his life to serving in the U.S. Air Force, where he held the position of navigator and staff officer before retiring as a Lt. Colonel. Post-military, he contributed his efforts to the Vietnam Veterans Association and General Dynamics.

Allen was a devoted father to five children and a grandfather to three. He cherished his family and enjoyed traveling with them. He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Gail Henderson-Green, his sister Suzi Green Owens, her husband Michael, and his children Aaron, Essie (married to Steven), Noah, Ruth (married to Riley), and Sam (engaged to Sydney).

The funeral service will take place on April 8, 2026, with a procession departing from Waters & Hibbert Funeral Home at 10:30 AM, escorted by the Pensacola Police Department. The ceremony will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery, followed by a reception at Azalea Trace.
