The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for Escambia, Santa Rosa, and Baldwin counties from Friday afternoon through Saturday afternoon. Excessive rainfall from Hurricane Isaias could cause flash flooding in low-lying and urban areas.

possible.
* WHERE…Portions of Alabama, including the following areas, Baldwin
Central, Baldwin Coastal, Baldwin Inland, Covington, Escambia,
Mobile Central, Mobile Coastal and Mobile Inland and northwest
Florida, including the following areas, Escambia Coastal, Escambia
Inland, Okaloosa Coastal, Okaloosa Inland, Santa Rosa Coastal and
Santa Rosa Inland.
* WHEN…From Friday afternoon through Saturday afternoon.
* IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– Hurricane Isaias will move onshore on the northern Gulf coast
Friday night, with bands of rain ahead of the storm moving
onshore Friday afternoon.
