Fredrick Dewel Deese, a beloved member of the Pensacola community, passed away peacefully at his home on May 12, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on November 8, 1975, in Portsmouth, Virginia, he was the son of Stephen and Judith (Williams) Deese.

Fredrick faced significant health challenges early in life but demonstrated remarkable resilience. He graduated from Pensacola High School, though he held a special fondness for Bethel Schools in Oklahoma.

Throughout his life, he contributed to the community in various roles including volunteer firefighter, coffee shop owner, security guard, and automotive mechanic. He is survived by his wife, Carmen, whom he described as true love at first sight, and their children: daughters Gabriella and Kaleigh, sons Stephen and Jean.

In addition to his immediate family, Fredrick is survived by his parents, Stephen and Judith Deese of Cantonment, Florida, his sisters Stephenie (Dennis) Moore of Plainwell, Michigan, and Tiffany Darr of Cantonment, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. He was cherished as an incredible son, brother, husband, and father.

A memorial service is scheduled for Sunday, May 17, 2026, at 2:00 PM.
