Remembering Lillian Louise Henderson Taylor of Pace, Florida

Lillian Louise Henderson Taylor, a resident of Pace, Florida, passed away on June 23, 2026, at the age of 90, surrounded by her loving family.

Louise was known for her warm spirit and determination, dedicating her life to her family, faith, and the many people she impacted throughout her years. She is survived by her three daughters, Sharon Taylor Derrick (Mike), Karen Taylor Lynch (Rick), and Marion Taylor Ferguson, in addition to her grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Edward “Ed” Taylor, who passed away in 2009. Their marriage lasted 57 years, characterized by devotion and joy.

Beyond her role as a homemaker, Louise was a talented hairdresser and operated a beauty salon until her retirement in 1969. Even after retiring, she continued to style hair for friends and family with the same warmth and care.

Louise was known for her many skills, including home renovation, sewing, and crafting beautiful flower arrangements. She was a sociable person who enjoyed meeting new people and was generous with her family and friends. Her culinary talents were well-known, and she took pleasure in sharing her baked goods with neighbors.

A dedicated member of Immanuel Baptist Church, Louise’s faith was a central part of her life, and she held her church family close to her heart. The family appreciates the care Louise received from Pine Forest Rehabilitation Center, especially from Michelle.

Visitation for family and friends will take place at Pensacola Memorial Gardens on July 1, from 1 PM to 2 PM, with a service to follow at 2 PM. Louise’s life was filled with love and generosity, and her legacy will continue through the family she cherished and the many lives she touched with her kindness.
