The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a special weather statement for Escambia County and Baldwin County. A strong, nearly stationary thunderstorm near Lillian and West Pensacola could produce wind gusts up to 50 mph through 3:30 PM.

At 250 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Lillian, or 9 miles west of West Pensacola. This storm was nearly
stationary.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include…
Brent, West Pensacola, Ensley, Warrington, Gonzalez, Goulding,
Lillian, and Myrtle Grove.
