CANTONMENT, FL. NewsWK — A 76-year-old Cantonment man has been arrested by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) as part of a statewide crackdown targeting online offenders.
The Arrest and Charges
William Dale Harris was taken into custody following an extensive investigation into the possession and dissemination of illegal materials online. Harris is officially facing multiple felony offenses, including:
- 20 counts of possession of child sexual abuse materials (CSAM).
- 1 count of unlawful use of a two-way communication device to commit a felony.
The arrest was finalized after FDLE agents, executing a localized operation under a broader Florida initiative, tracked the illicit digital activity directly to the suspect.

Following his arrest, Harris was transported and booked into the Escambia County Jail.
