Special Weather Statement: Escambia; Baldwin Inland; Escambia Inland; Santa Rosa Inland
The National Weather Service has issued a Special Weather Statement for inland Escambia, Santa Rosa, and Baldwin counties. Strong thunderstorms capable of producing 50 mph wind gusts are impacting areas including Century, Bratt, Atmore, and Flomaton.

At 326 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 5 miles east of I65 And AL 21 to near Poarch
Creek Reservation. Movement was south at 10 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include…
Atmore, Century, Flomaton, McCullough, Bratt, I65 And CR 1, I65 And
AL 21, and Poarch Creek Reservation.
