Special Weather Statement: Escambia Inland; Santa Rosa Inland; Santa Rosa Coastal

The National Weather Service has issued a special weather statement for inland Escambia County and Santa Rosa County, including Milton and Bagdad. Strong thunderstorms moving through the area may bring gusty winds up to 50 mph.

At 337 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 8 miles south of Century to 5 miles north of
Point Baker to 8 miles northeast of Roeville. Movement was southwest
at 10 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Milton, Bagdad, Molino, Point Baker, and Roeville.

Precautionary / preparedness actions

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
