The National Weather Service has issued a Special Weather Statement for inland Escambia, Santa Rosa, and Baldwin counties, tracking strong thunderstorms with 50 mph wind gusts and frequent cloud-to-ground lightning impacting Milton, Molino, Bay Minette, and surrounding communities.

At 559 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles southeast of Crestview to 12 miles
north of Roeville to 8 miles southeast of Bratt to near Stockton.
Movement was south at 20 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include…
Crestview, Niceville, Bay Minette, Milton, Valparaiso, Baker, Molino,
Roeville, and Point Baker.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
