…The Flood Warning continues for the following river in Florida…
Alabama…

Escambia River Near Century affecting Escambia and Santa Rosa
Counties.

For the Escambia River…including Century…Minor flooding is
forecast.

the Rivers and Lakes menu for forecasts and observations.

The next statement will be issued when updates occur.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Escambia River near Century.

* WHEN…Until Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 17.0 feet, considerable flooding of lowlands is
occuring. At 19.0 feet, low lying pastures will flood. Cattle
should be moved to higher ground.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 18.2 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 9:00 AM CDT Wednesday was 18.5 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage early
Sunday morning and continue falling to 16.2 feet Monday morning.
– Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
