The National Weather Service has issued a special weather statement for Pensacola, Baldwin, Escambia, and Santa Rosa counties. Strong thunderstorms capable of producing 40 mph wind gusts and pea-sized hail are moving through the area.

Pensacola Weather Alert: Storm Hazards and Impacted Areas
At 556 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 8 miles east of Roeville to near Molino.
Movement was south at 25 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Pensacola, Ferry Pass, Brent, West Pensacola, Ensley, Warrington,
Gonzalez, Pace, Milton, Gulf Breeze, Goulding, Bagdad, Lillian,
Myrtle Grove, Oriole Beach, Navarre, Perdido Beach, Pensacola Beach,
Point Baker, and Navarre Beach.
