Special Weather Statement: Baldwin Central; Escambia Inland; Escambia Coastal

The National Weather Service has issued a Special Weather Statement for inland Escambia County and central Baldwin County. A strong, nearly stationary thunderstorm near Molino and Gonzalez may produce wind gusts up to 50 mph.

At 436 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 4
miles southwest of Molino, or 8 miles northwest of Gonzalez. This
storm was nearly stationary.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Gonzalez and Molino.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
