Juanita “Pete” Corrado, aged 82, of Pace, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2026. Originally from East Tallassee, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late James and Jewel Graham.

After graduating from Elmore County High School, Pete pursued a nursing degree at Pensacola Junior College. She dedicated over 20 years of her life as a registered nurse, making a significant impact on the lives of many in the community.

A passionate traveler, Pete cherished the memories of her adventures with her late husband, Tony Corrado. She was also deeply involved in the Bayou Dachshund Club, where she spent many years breeding and showing long-haired dachshunds.

As a devoted Christian, Pete lived her life guided by the teachings of Jesus Christ. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, affectionately known as MamMam to her grandchildren and to many who considered her family.

Juanita is survived by her children, Rusty (Melissa) Johnston, Michael (Dianne) Corrado, Stacy (Billy) Carter, and Tara (Ray) Albarado, along with her beloved grandchildren, Brandon, Zachary, Hailey, Seth, Hayden, Ella, Graham, Laura, and numerous close family friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a favorite animal rescue or that a tree be planted in her memory.
