Thomas William Norrie, an 84-year-old resident of Milton, Florida, passed away on May 18, 2026. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, he was born on March 7, 1942, and graduated from James Madison High School.

In 1962, Norrie enlisted in the Navy, serving as a deckhand and in the mess hall, and he received an honorable discharge. He relocated to Florida in 1971, where he worked as a security guard and became an active member of Hickory Hammock Baptist Church, enjoying fellowship and worship with his family.

Norrie is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Campbell Norrie and Jean Daisy Norrie, as well as his wife, Barbara Ann Norrie. He is survived by his three children: Jean (Jose) Arcay, Thomas R. (Jackie) Norrie, and Richard R. Norrie; five grandchildren, including Sam Ludwig and Thomas R. (TJ) Norrie II; and two great-grandchildren, William Harris and Lyra Lass.
