Pensacola residents are invited to honor the memory of Shelia Brown Henley, who passed away on May 31, 2026. Known for her deep faith and commitment to family, Shelia was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Shelia dedicated her life to helping others and spreading love within her community. Her passion for singing and quilting brought joy to those around her, as she often used her talents to uplift spirits and create cherished memories with family and friends. Those who knew her describe her presence as a true gift, filled with laughter, wisdom, and unwavering faith.

Sheila is survived by her children, Kay Yerby and Rosanna Henley, along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth E. Henley and several family members who will also be remembered.

A celebration of her life is scheduled for June 13 at 10:00 AM at Hamilton’s Pond, located at 243 South Pine Barren Road, McDavid, FL 32568. The family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Opening Doors of Northwest Florida in her memory.
