Anthony Clayton Colson, a cherished member of the Pensacola community, passed away on June 5, 2026, at the age of 67. Born on April 29, 1959, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, he was the son of the late Edward and Myra Bradshaw Colson.
Colson graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in business administration. In 1985, he married Linda, and they enjoyed a fulfilling life together for over 45 years, including 41 years of marriage. The couple moved to Pensacola, where they spent the last 40 years happily immersed in the community.
For 36 years, Anthony dedicated his career to managing in the Wholesale Beverage industry. He and Linda shared a passion for travel, water sports, beach outings, and tailgating at football games with loved ones. Anthony was particularly fond of spending time with his son, Austin, at NASCAR races and was a regular at the Five Flags Speedway, especially during the Snowball Derby.
In addition to his professional and recreational pursuits, Anthony was known for his cooking skills, delighting family and friends with meals crafted from scratch.
He is survived by his wife Linda, son Austin, sister Regina Briggs (Kendall), brother Blaine Colson, along with numerous nieces, great-nieces, and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Dementia Society of America or a charity of your choice.
